Carlos Bianchini | Pianista Compositor

Born in Barcelona, he took to the piano at a young age, graduating from the conservatory of his native city. He later pursued his advanced piano studies at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Salamanca, and from there he went on to complete his education with a degree in Musicology at La Rioja University.

Following a number of cooperative projects with different dance companies including the Compañía Nacional de Danza (CND) and the Compañía NS Danza, and institutions such as the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona, he developed his skills in real-time improvisation and composition. These specialties would soon become the central focus of his work.

For four years he has been directing his own show production company, alongside dancer and choreographer Núria Serra, and he is the founding member of different musical ensembles.
